A monthly content series designed to bring everything together.

What started as a simple idea quickly became one of Premier Storage’s most successful and recognisable pieces of ongoing marketing.

Overview: Monthly Marketing Newsletter : Strategy & Results

In October 2024, I was given a brief to create a newsletter for Premier Storage. The aim was to create something that could bring together company updates, key moments, and ongoing activity into one clear, consistent format. This monthly marketing newsletter showcases how a simple idea became one of Premier Storage’s most successful and recognisable pieces of ongoing marketing.

The goal was to create something people would actually enjoy reading.
A regular update that felt engaging, easy to follow, and genuinely worth opening.

My Role

-Concept development and strategy
-Content planning and structure creation
-Email design and build (Zoho Campaigns)
-Content repurposing across LinkedIn and social media
-Performance monitoring and ongoing optimisation

Approach

Each Monthly Round Up follows a consistent structure and style. Graphics were designed to feel familiar while keeping the content fresh and engaging.

Content typically included:
-Team updates and internal news
-Promotions or featured products
-Behind-the-scenes projects
-Community involvement
-Links to blogs, social content, and key pages

The tone was intentionally balanced, professional enough for a B2B audience, but still human, warm, and easy to read.

A key part of the strategy was repurposing. Instead of creating entirely new content for each platform, the Round Up acts as a central hub:
-Email as the main delivery channel
-LinkedIn newsletter to expand reach
-Social media to reinforce key messages

This made the campaign both scalable and sustainable.

The Results

The Monthly Round Up delivered consistently strong performance since launch:

-Email open rates consistently above 40%
-Strong repeat engagement month-on-month
-One of the company’s most opened recurring campaigns

On LinkedIn:
-Steady subscriber growth following  the launch of the LinkedIn newsletter in January 2025
-Regular spikes in views after each issue
-Engagement from decision-makers across target industries

The Impact

Over time, the Monthly Round Up became something people expected and even looked forward to from Premier Storage. This monthly marketing newsletter proved that consistency and clarity often outperform one-off campaigns.

It helped:
-Build familiarity and trust with the brand
-Keep customers informed without overwhelming them
-Showcase the people and values behind the business

Most importantly, it proved that consistency and clarity often outperform one-off campaigns.

Sometimes the most effective marketing isn’t about doing more, it’s about bringing everything together in a way that makes sense.
